Revathi Kannan was born in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan on 26th January 1984. She graduates with Bachelor of Law (Honours) from University of Malaya and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor from High Court of Malaya in 2009.

Revathi Kannan has been practising her law for the past 14 years. She also has served as Assistant Manager of Legal Department for one of prestigious GLC company in Malaysia, SYABAS which is known as AIR Selangor now. In the year 2014, she founded Messrs. Revathi & Partners, a medium size boutique firm which operates in Puchong and Petaling Jaya, Selangor She also sits as an Adjudicator in Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) as an Adjudicator to adjudicate the Payment Dispute in Construction Cases. In the year 2021, Ms.Revathi Kannan was appointed as Fellow and Certified Practitioner (Adjudicator) by Asian Institute of Alternate Dispute Resolution (AIADR). Subsequently she have also has been appointed as member of PDEC Programs Subcommittee under the division of AIADR Professional Development and Education Committee (PDEC).

Despite her busy schedule as a legal social responsibility for the society she uses to appear in various local & international media giving legal awareness talks covering all areas of law which cover the topic of family law, criminal law, banking law, employment law, medical law, cyber law, trust law, contract law, insurance law, Intellectual Property (IP) law and other civil law topics.
