Gunalan Kanasamy is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational and professional background, making him a valuable asset to Revathi & Partners. He graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Jurisprudence (Hons) and obtained his Certificate in Legal Profession in the year 2022. Prior to transitioning to the field of law, Gunalan was a Registered Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

He holds a Diploma in Electronics Communication Engineering from Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah and earned his first degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Hons) from Universiti Tenaga Nasional in the year 2006. Gunalan also brings valuable experience as an Engineer, with a notable 7-year tenure at Astro Malaysia and having worked with various private sector entities. Currently, Gunalan is a Partner at Revathi & Partners. Upon completing his Pupillage at the firm, Gunalan joined as a partner. His expertise in engineering shines through his prior roles as an Engineer and his management-level positions in various multinational and private companies in Malaysia. Gunalan’s engineering prowess, especially in Artificial Intelligence, has honed his analytical skills and innovative thinking. His background in both law and engineering equips him to address legal challenges related to technology, intellectual property, and emerging issues in the digital era.
